Honey Sesame Chicken
- 1 1/2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts , cut into bite size pieces
- 2/3 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1/2 cup honey
- 3 Tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- 3 Tbsp finely chopped yellow onion
- 1 clove garlic , finely minced
- 1 1/2 tsp finely grated ginger
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper , to taste
- 1 cup + 1 1/2 Tbsp cornstarch1 1/2 Tbsp cold waterVegetable oil , for frying
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 large eggs
- 1 Tbsp sesame seeds Chopped green onions , for garnish (optional)
